Crystal Hunt is a board-certified nurse practitioner with greater than ten years professional experience. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from The University of Memphis.
Crystal worked as a research associate in molecular biology and protein science for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where alongside world renowned scientists she developed and produced a pneumococcal vaccine used across the world for disease prevention.
Crystal then put her scientific skills to work, continuing her medical training in New York. She graduated top in her class from an accelerated one-year program, attaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dominican College of Blauvelt in Orangeburg, New York.
Following graduation, Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in New York City became her new home away from home. At Mount Sinai, Crystal flourished as a nurse in many areas including patient care, teaching, and as a community leader and team member serving on multiple committees.
Through funding from the Mount Sinai Hospital, she attained a Master of Science in Nursing from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, graduating with honors and top in her class as a Nurse Practitioner.
She was then kept on staff at Mount Sinai, practicing and teaching as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the busiest healthcare environments in the world. In tandem with her professional achievements, her commitment to physical health, fitness and fascination with anti-aging science, permeated her personal life, as she trained for and competed in multiple bikini bodybuilding shows.
During her time as a graduate, Crystal began learning about medical aesthetics, receiving instruction and attending multiple educational events and seminars, while treating patients in various specialties of medicine.
Crystal has lived in Gainesville, Florida since 2020, and enjoys sharing her life in the city with her husband, their daughter and chihuahuas. She understands every patient is unique and her philosophy in care places emphasis in both listening and discussion in order to understand goals and tailor each treatment plan accordingly.
Crystal applies her well-rounded background in healthcare and her own personal experiences towards an individualized treatment approach. As a nurse practitioner in our aesthetics office, she performs procedures including neurotoxin injections and injection of dermal fillers for rejuvenation, enhancement, correction, and more.
